Caring for children and adolescents living with HIV is no small feat. Caregivers have to get the children to and from
the clinic, follow the instructions from the healthcare workers, make sure the children are sticking to their treatment
at home, and – when the time comes – explain what having HIV means to the child. All this while taking care of the everyday needs of the child.
Encouraging caregivers to navigate these challenges is where you come in!
We want to create fire AI videos aimed at caregivers of children and adolescents living with HIV that make them feel
seen and heard, and encourage them to keep up the amazing care they give to the children – even when the children aren’t theirs.
Maybe you have a relatable story to tell? Maybe you can tell us how conversations like this went down for you as a
teen? Maybe you can come up with an inspiring message of your own for teens? Whatever the case, please share
your story/message with us by filling in the submission form below:
We’ll let you know if we’re going to use your story/message to create a video. If you’re game, we’ll also invite you to
be the voice behind the video! So keep an eye on your inbox after completing your submission.
